Explore a wide range of services tailored to your needs.
1st: Mounting the dish first.
Four cement screws are included with your DSTV dish when you receive it. For the installation position, which requires an unhindered view pointing toward the Eastern horizon, drill four holes in the base of the antenna tower.
After that, the drilled holes will be filled with cement screws.
Attach the antenna assembly to the top of the dish’s mast after the screws are inserted. Take special note of the mast’s center, which needs to be secured to the dish’s rear and oriented with respect to the pole at the top of the mast. To ensure the mast clamp stays in place, both of its screws need to be tightened.
2nd: Align the DSTV antenna.
To align the dish in the right direction, use a sat meter.
You can change the elevation from the side to suit your preferences. Degree markings will be visible. Maintain a temperature of 36 to 39 degrees.
Check the dish and set the LNB to point at four o’clock. To achieve the best possible signal quality, keep experimenting with it.
3rd: Double-check everything
To prevent the cords on your wall from fraying, use something as basic as cable ties.
Lastly, turn on your television and decoder for some high-definition pleasure.
